- 1 tbsp chilli flakes or paprika (optional)

- 2 tbsp guchujang chilli paste (if you can't find it you can use Sriracha sauce instead)
- 2-3 tbsp honey
- 2-4 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1-2 spring onion, finely chopped
- some toasted sesame seed for garnish
- Serve with rice
Steps to make to make Korean Style Chicken
- Prep the chicken : Slice chicken into long strips and bite size. add them in a mixing bowl, seasoning with minced garlic, minced ginger, salt and pepper. Leave it aside.
- In another mixing bowl, add corn flour, plain flour and chilli flakes and mix well. transfer dry mixture into chicken bowl and mix well. You may need a little bit of water to lose up the coated flour but check after mix in.
- Time to fry : Heat up a wok or pan, add some vegetable cooking oil and wait until medium heat. Add chicken pieces one by one and let them cook for about 2-3 mins each side, flip over with tongs or chop sticks. Once all cooked, transfer to a plate lay with kitchen towel.
- Make the korean style sauce : Add all the sauce ingredients in a small saucepan (except butter, sesame seeds and spring onion) then mix well. Put the saucepan on the medium heat and stir until all dissloved. Add butter then mix well. Turn the heat off and add sesame and spring onion.
